"TACTICAL RANGE"
​
All HDG "Tactical Range" products were conceived out of the need to provide modern day service personnel with a secondary weapon system that can be relied upon in close quarters / Melee or as a last resort on both offensive and defensive operations.
​
Each "Tactical Range" variant has been vigorously field tested on Land, the Littoral and at Sea by (UK) Special Forces Operators and the (UK) Royal Marines.

All HDG "Tactical Range" products dimensions have been increased proportionally,
to cater for modern day service personnel wearing equipment and gloves.
​
These dimensional changes have in theory created a "HYBRID" that resides somewhere in-between a Classic WW2 dagger and a modern Bayonet dimensions.
All "Tactical Range" daggers are based on a unique modular grip system that allows each dagger variation in the "Tactical Range" to host a different pommel, guard and blade variation.

All "Tactical Range" products also boasts many unique bygone features that have been revamped and modernised to give the end user the ultimate secondary weapon system in close quarters / Melee combat situations.
KEY FEATURES:​
POMMEL
​
There are several pommel variations used in the "Tactical Range"
The "KRAKEN" pommel is based on the classic V42 "Witches Hat" design from WW2.
This unique feature provides the user with multiple options ranging from, Breaking glass, and hand to hand melee being but a few.
​
The "HYDRA" and "CETO" pommels are based on the classic WW2, 2nd pattern rounded bulbous design again the pommels dimensions have been increased to act as a natural end stop to the grip.
Both pommel variations also have a illuminous dot placed in the centre of the nut, this allow the user to locate the dagger in zero darkness, it is also only visible to the user whilst looking directly down on to it and the light diminishes with distance.
GRIP

The grip itself is considerably larger in all respects to that of a classic WW2 grip,
This has been done for several reasons.
​
1, To allow for the use of gloves
​
2, To cater for the size of a modern man
​
3, To allow for extra weight to enhance Penetration, thrusting and swinging movements via fugal force.
​​
The grip has been Ceracoted "Flat Earth" to blend in with modern uniforms and equipment variations.
​
​​There are eight rubber O-rings evenly place along the grips length. These O-rings are both heat and chemical resistant.
​
The rubber O-rings not only provide phenomenal grip to the user in all environments but they also have a symbolic meaning as the represent the Eight Victoria Crosses awarded to Commandos during WW2.

GUARD
​
There are several guard combinations used through out the "Tactical Range"
The "KRAKEN" guard is based on the classic WW2 "1st Pattern" S shaped guard.
The length has been extended to cater for the larger grip and also to allow the user some basic hand protection.

The "HYDRA" and "CETO" guards are based on the classic WW2, "2nd pattern" straight design again the length has been extended to cater for the larger grip and also to allow the user some basic hand protection.

BLADE
​
The "KRAKEN" blade is based on the classic "1st pattern" WW2 design that has been modernised and ground to a rapid tapper.
​
The ricasso has a deep thumb print machined on to it to allow the user extra purchase and dexterity whilst handling the dagger.
​
The wedge has been greatly extend 3/4 along the blade to provide not only stability but strength to the rapid tapper blade.
SHEATH
​
The "Mad Jack" sheath has been designed in collaboration with British Tactical.
​
​​​
This simplified robust sleek design allow the user to place the dagger in any orientation and attach it any equipment currently in service.
​
The sheath has a water drainage vent at the base and several equipment attachment variations to the rear and is laser etched HAMILTON on the rear.

Domed anti collapsible opening to allow easy blade insertion and tapered design to offer slight blade retention.

Brand new Laser cut Thermoplastic back with laser cut 1000D/500D laminate MOLLE Backer and 1000D/500D Laminate front with PALS Grid.

Front PALS lines up with rear MOLLE attachment to allow sheath to be mounted behind other pouches.

Additional rear belt slots for direct belt attachment.

Lower drainage opening and front cord holes.

Internal HDPE insert for blade retention, this can be removed for pouch mounting, cleaning or replacement.

Adjustable One Wrap press stud retention with reinforced plastic tab for ease of opening. Covered stud base to prevent damage/noise from the metal.​​​

Will accept variety of blades HDG Blade variations.

New laser cut Laminate MOLLE / PALS attachment system.
